Cat Caspar-Founder
Cat Caspar began life making a lot of noise. At the time, it may have occurred to her parents as screaming but in time they came to realize that it was most likely singing and they just had a very vocal child. That unique use of her vocal chords has served her well in life from breaking out in a made up song entertaining/annoying strangers in a random restaurant as a child to starring in numerous Equity theatre productions to starting her own band, performing at large festivals and recording multiple albums.
As a very motivated young woman, Cat realized early that it was easier to learn how to create her own artwork than to find someone else to translate the mayhem in her head. With her second love of computers and graphics, she taught herself Photoshop and video editing and another way to express herself creatively and to help other artists with the same needs.
There was something seriously missing however. She could not for the life of her understand on a basic level how large corporations got in between the partnership between a musician creating a piece of music out of passion for a fan who is listening to a piece of music out of passion. Very creative individuals were being stomped on or left out because they didn’t want to play the game If it’s about money, couldn’t everyone make money without damaging that precious synergy? Especially the artist? She believes so…and RootJam was born. A whole NEW game! www.catcaspar.com
